Cosmetology

The Ohio State Board of Cosmetology licenses the cosmetology program.  The principal objective is to instruct students in subjects to qualify them to pass the state board license examination and provide the best possible service to patrons.  Class work includes an understanding of fields such as bacteriology, anatomy, physiology, and business management as well as trade information and current trends in styling.  The complete course is 1,500 hours (including mandatory 150 hour internship)  as set by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, and attendance is mandatory to meet examination and license requirements.  Students are required to take the state examination before receiving their cosmetology credits.
