Bullying Policy

Based on policy 5517.01 definitions, the number of reports made for the 1st semester of the 2012-2013 school year were:
  • High School - 12 incidents
  • Junior High - 14 incidents
  • South Elementary - 6 incidents
  • Eastview Elementary - 4 incidents
  • Mifflin Elementary - 3 incidents
Consequences for the 39 incidents resulted in 23 out-of school suspensions or expulsions and the other 16 were either resolved through counseling, after-school or in-school detentions.
 
Based on policy 5517.01 definitions, the number of reports made for the 2nd semester of the 2012-2013 school year were:
  • High School - 2 incidents
  • Junior High - 7 incidents
  • South Elementary - 6 incidents
  • Eastview Elementary - 22 incidents
  • Mifflin Elementary - 9 incidents
Consequences for the 46 incidents resulted in 46 out-of school suspensions or expulsions and the other 9 were either resolved through counseling, after-school or in-school detentions.
 
Based on policy 5517.01 definitions, the number of reports made for the 1st semester of the 2013-2014 school year were:
  • High School - 3 incidents
  • Junior High - 5 incidents
  • South Elementary - 7 incidents
  • Eastview Elementary - 5 incidents
  • Mifflin Elementary - 6 incidents
Consequences for the 26 incidents resulted in 13 out-of-school suspensions and the other 13 were either resolved through counseling, after school or in-school detentions or bus suspension.
 
Based on policy 5517.01 definitions, the number of reports made for the 2nd semester of the 2013/2014 school year were:
  • High School - 3 incidents
  • Middle School - 5 incidents
  • South Elementary - 5 incidents
  • Eastview Elementary - 6 incidents

Consequences for the 22 incidents resulted in 9 out-of-school suspensions, 1 expulsion, and the other 12 were either resolved through counseling, removal from classroom or in-school detentions.

  • Middle School 7/8 - 7 incidents
  • Middle School 5/6 - 6 incidents

Consequences for the 18 incidents resulted in 3 out-of-school suspensions and the other 15 were either resolved through counseling, removal from classroom or in-school detention.
