Superintendent's Message
Madison Local School District Community,

Hello, my name is Rob Peterson, I am excited to serve the district in my 3rd year as superintendent after serving the Madison Local School District for the last 29 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

We are very excited to begin the 2022-2023 school year.  It is our desire to challenge each and every student academically while providing the necessary supports to assist them in achieving their goals.  One of our highest priorities is to provide a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment where students have every opportunity to be successful.  We hope to assist all students throughout their PreK-12 experiences so that they have the opportunity to be highly successful in the career pathway of their choice after high school.

The Madison Local School District is proud of the many opportunities we provide for our children and for our community.   In addition to the traditional K-12 experience, we also house an early childhood program at the Madison Early Childhood Learning Center, a preschool program at Madison South Elementary, career-technical education in our own Career Technical Center at the high school, and adult education through our Madison Adult Career Center at the high school.   These programs afford our students and our community with many opportunities that most districts cannot offer.

It is our desire to help our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally each year and to assist our students in developing a curiosity and passion for learning.  We believe that developing our students starts with building positive relationships and partnerships with our students, their families, and the community.  Our administrators, teachers, and staff work hard and are dedicated to the success of our students.  Our teachers work diligently to provide standards-based instruction through the use of engaging strategies and resources.

While the past 2 ½ years have provided us with many challenges, I appreciate and am extremely proud of the way our staff, students, their families, and the community has worked together to successfully navigate this difficult time!
I am honored to be serving as the Superintendent of the Madison Local School District and look forward to a great 2022-2023 school year--GO RAMS!

In Ram Pride,
 Rob Peterson, Superintendent
