I hope everyone is having a great summer. I wanted to share an opportunity for students at Tim Horton's on July 16 from 1pm to 3pm.
Tim Hortons on Ashland Rd. Will be hosting a Camp Day event on Wednesday July 16th from 1-3 p.m.!
Come make a smore with us or perhaps decorate your own donut 🍩!
We will also be making necklaces, having a coloring contest and get a special visit from the Sheriff's Dept 👮♂️!
All ages welcome! We look forward to seeing all the kiddos there!
Feel free to stop by or message me if you have any additional questions!

I hope everyone is having a great summer. The school supply list is on our website but I thought I would go ahead and share here as well in case anyone comes across some great deals. Enjoy the sunshine and a good book!

Eastview Families,
I hope your summer is off to a good start. I am including another opportunity for some great prizes with the Second Lady's Summer Reading Challenge. This opportunity goes from June 1st to September 5th. Students will read 12 books and then have their parent submit their submission form and reading log via email. You can use the same books that you are hopefully already reading with the Mansfield Richland County Public Library Program or read even more if you'd like. I am including the link with the details. Happy Reading!

Eastview Families,
I hope you are enjoying the sunshine today. Just a reminder about the I Ready program that students can do from home this summer as well the Summer Library Program that is available at all branches of the Mansfield Richland County Public Library. https://www.mrcpl.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/SLP-2025-Childrens-Booklet.pdf
We will do a sweet treat in the Fall for students who complete at least one of these summer programs and Ice Cream for students who complete both programs. To show completion of the summer library program, please bring in the earned book at the end which should have a signed sticker stating that it was earned from completing the library program. Also, please be aware that the Madison Branch library offers free backpack meals daily during library hours. These are available while supplies last. https://www.mrcpl.org/services/backpack-meals/ Enjoy your summer!

The 100 Years of Madison Carnival will be May 17th from 12-3. Don't miss your chance to Dunk an Administrator!

Announcing Rooms for our District!
Dear Families,
We are always working to improve and simplify communication between you and our Madison Local School District.
Staying connected with your child's coursework and activities has a direct impact on their well-being, both at school and at home. Effective school communication is key to this, but it’s often not as simple or accessible as it could be.
That’s why we’re working to make it better. On April 11th, we’ll be adding a new feature called "Rooms" to our district app. Beginning next school year, Rooms will allow you to engage in two-way conversations with teachers, as well as stay updated on announcements relevant to you and your child. For the remainder of this school year, we will be using it to share building-wide information and updates. We will also have a few select teachers piloting it for use at each school building.
Our district app currently offers:
Live feed updates
District and school news
Upcoming events
Push notifications for important and urgent announcements
With Rooms, you’ll have access to even more exciting features like:
Two-way messaging with teachers, staff, and coaches
Classroom announcements, reminders about coursework, and materials
Behavior tracking for celebrating good behavior and academic achievement
Automatic translation
So, what does this mean for you? It means you won’t need another app or tool to stay connected with your child’s teachers, coaches, coursework, and activities. School and district information will all be available in one place—our Madison Local School District app. If you don’t have it yet, the app is free and can be found in both the Play Store and the App Store!
On April 11th, you'll receive an invite to Rooms via email or text. Once you get the invite, simply follow the link in your browser to create a login. After creating your login, you can access Rooms through the Madison Local School District app.
We hope this provides you with a richer, simpler, and ultimately easier communication experience.
Feel free to reach out to your child’s school office if you have any questions or concerns.
Best,
Madison Local School District

Today we had a pep rally to get our 3rd and 4th graders ready for state testing, which starts tomorrow with ELA. A huge thank you to the members of the boys' and girls' basketball team for taking the time to come to Eastview to share about some character traits that not only helped them be successful on the basketball court but will also help our students be successful on the state test! Let's Rock the Test Eastview!

Today was a busy day at Eastview! We had a great mini concert from the High Schoolers who did a great job sharing all about band with our fourth graders. We welcomed more members to the Class Dojo 100 Point Club and also had an Easter Egg Hunt for our quarter 3 PBIS party.
