This year, we are putting a new twist on our traditional One Book, One School experience! Instead of everyone reading the same book at the same time, our school community will be diving into a variety of wonderful stories written by Kate DiCamillo.
Kate DiCamillo is a beloved author who has written an incredible range of books that can be enjoyed by students from Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. By exploring different titles across grade levels, we hope to spark a shared love of reading while allowing each class to experience stories that best fit their age group.
To make things even more exciting, we’ll be adding math into the mix! Join us on April 23rd from 5:00–6:30 PM for an evening of literacy and math fun.

Happy Valentine's Day! Our students had some really creative boxes and enjoyed their parties. Have a great long weekend. Remember we do not have school on Friday or Monday.
Today was a great day! We celebrated Mid-Year I Ready growth with an Olympic Ceremony. The students had a great time parading across the gym and being recognized for their hard work on the podium! Keep up the great work, Eastview!

As a result of moving to elementary grade level buildings next year, and a significant number of our elementary teachers changing buildings, the Board of Education has approved my recommendation to modify this year's school calendar so that our teachers will have appropriate time to pack up their rooms as the district prepares for the major move this summer.
The modification of the calendar will result in the elementary students ending their school year on Friday, May 22nd, as their last day of school. The modification is pending the completion of instructional hours as required by state law.
