Medical Assisting Technologies

Students prepare for three certifications and numerous healthcare employment opportunities in Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy and Certified Nurse Aide. Certifications include Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT) through American Medical Technologists (AMT); and Ohio Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Gain additional experience and employer connections through externships in various types of healthcare facilities. MACC students have entertained job offers as a result of externship experiences.

Enrollment/employment options are limited for students with felonies/recent criminal charges.  Students must meet with MACC to discuss prior to starting class.
