Madison Teachers Awarded TAP Grants

The Madison Local School District is proud to announce that five teachers have received
Teacher Assistance Program (TAP) Grants for various projects throughout the 2020-21 school
year. Each of the teachers applied for the grants through the Richland County Foundation and
recently received notification of approval from RCF. Madison Local Schools would like to thank
the Richland County Foundation for their generosity and support of Madison students and
teachers.

The five teachers who were awarded the grants and their projects are listed below. These
teachers should be congratulated and honored for their ongoing support of Madison students!

Christine Elder, Middle School - Structural Engineering
Craig Green, High School - Musicianship through Score Study
April Harsh, Middle School - Talking Books
Katelyn Oslie, High School - Madison HS Robotics Team
Jennifer Thoma, South Elementary - Snap Words
