Safety Town Program

Madison Local Safety Town

Safety Town 2023 registration begins April 17th - May 19th! You can come into the MECLC office to pick up a registration form or download the form below. Forms and picture money must be dropped off to MECLC by May 19th. We cannot accept late registrations forms or picture money. Please download the Important Parent Information and the Safety Town 2023 brochure using the links below. Space is limited with 30 spots in the AM and 30 spots in the PM. Your child's spot will be reserved once your registration form is turned in. Thank you!

The Madison Local School District began a new Safety Town program in the summer of 2022. Children that are entering into kindergarten in the fall of the current academic year are welcome to attend. There are AM and PM sessions available. Children from any school district can attend and the cost is free. Please stop back in April to print off the new registration form for the summer 2023 sessions.

Safety Town Lessons

During Safety Town your child will learn about the Fire Department, Police Department, water safety, pedestrian safety, bus safety, bike safety, 9-1-1, stranger danger, medication safety, and emergency preparedness. The lessons will be taught by the Safety Town staff and special speakers. Children will experience many hands on learning activities to provide them with real life scenarios to help them learn the best.
