District professional development is in full swing this fall, with plenty of opportunities for teachers to grow and earn hours toward their certification.

 

We have been offering professional development on our new STAR 360 Universal Screener, as well as refreshers for teachers working with Everyday Math and Crisis Prevention. In October we will be holding training on some new programming in grades K-4 to help with interventions, and continuing our Everyday Math series, as well as adding Leader In Me professional development.

 

A district wide Inservice is planned for October 8th and will be focused around school safety. Staff will receive training on ALICE, Stop the Bleed, and also have some time to update their safety courses in Public School Works. Staff members are encouraged to check the Madison Event Scheduler for up and coming professional development in the month's ahead.
