- Notice to Bidders: Bids will be received by Madison Local School District for New 5-8 School - Please click

- The Richland County S.C.R.A.P. recycling trailer will be at Madison Junior High on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 2-4 p. m. Materials accepted include #1 and #2 plastic bottles, aluminum and metal cans, newspapers, and corrugated cardboard. The trailer will be parked at the far end of the lower lot. Because the bins fill up quickly, it might be wise to plan to arrive soon after 2:00. Thank you for supporting Madison Junior High!
- Kindergarten registration for the Madison Local
School District will be held at each elementary
school February 27 through March 9, 2012 from 8:00
a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Kindergarten will be held all-day,
Monday – Friday. Children must be five years
old on or before August 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
Parents must bring the following to register their
child: birth certificate of child, immunization
record, child’s social security card, proof of
residency (utility bill), and current custody papers
if applicable. Parents should register their
child at the school building where their child will
attend.
- The next Construction meeting for the building
project will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at the
Madison Board of Education at 2:00 pm.

As a school district we remain committed to
moving Madison Local Schools to the next level of excellence. At
Madison we are dedicated to providing opportunities for all
students to reach their fullest potential intellectually,
socially, emotionally and physically. We continually work at
developing curriculum and programs that effectively meet the
needs of all our students.
The Madison Local School District staff
members, certified and classified, are committed to working
together for the betterment of our students. Our belief that
students are our number one priority has special meaning in our
schools and helps provide direction and scope when making
building and district decisions.
Madison is known for its strong traditions.
Our schools provide a focal point of pride for our community.
With the continued support of our parents and families we strive
to meet high expectations for our students.
As we enter a new school year we look forward
to the future and the positive developments for the children of
our school district. Working together we will continue to
provide an outstanding educational program for our youth.
